Lace Turtleneck / Leather Dress / Blue Beret / Baby L Stocking / Jon's Buttondown (New version)/ Jon's Pants / Zoey's Bow
Yep, you got it! Jonathan and I are so happy to finally share the news that we will be welcoming a baby boy in June! Getting right to it, I am 13 weeks along, and I honestly feel fabulous. I have been focusing on having the most positive mindset throughout this process. Mind over matter is key. Another key thing for me has been remaining consistent with my workouts. Staying active helps to fuel that positive attitude I strive for, and it doesn't hurt having my best friend, Sam, who's also expecting to go through it with!
Jonathan, and I can't wait to meet our boy! We do have a name picked out; however, we probably won't share it in case we change our minds! Jon is so pumped to have a son. Because Saturday's are for the boys and all that right? LOL!
I wanted to share all the pictures from our reveal photo session with one of my fav friends and photogs Taylor! She crushed it as always. Pray for our growing family as we go throughout this journey! We can't wait to meet him!
Every year I get more and more excited to put up my Christmas decorations! I feel like the older I get the better my holiday season goes, and I begin looking forward to it even more than the last! I invest so much time, energy, and money (shhh, don't tell my husband!) into decorating for the holidays, and I like to enjoy it for as long as possible LOL. This year I stuck with a (mostly) white theme to brighten things up in our living room. Fluffy pillows, fairy lights, and glittery pine cones sum up the vibe of our home! I'm loving the cheery feel I get every morning when I walk into the living room to make coffee. I don't necessarily feel like less is more when decorating for the holidays, but I definitely feel like it can be overdone sometimes. So, this go around I tried to meet somewhere in the middle! Swapping out the throw pillows in each room (mostly your main living space) can add a special touch outside of your traditional tree. The addition of twinkling lights hung over a ladder like mine or in a jar or vase is such a great way to bring some extra cheer into your home for the holidays. Little touches like this are what brings it all together for me!
As for the look in this post, I've been hoarding this sweater for ages! I've racked my brain trying to style it as the neckline is an awkward fit for me. After coming across this lace layering piece I knew I could finally make an outfit with this sweater! A classic pair of black jeans and my Jeffrey Campbell go-tos make the look perfect for a holiday get together with family or friends! Speaking of which, I'm so pumped to get together with the people I love this season. Looking into next week, Jon, Zoey, and I get the change to hop over to Mississippi (our home state) to celebrate Thanksgiving with both of our families. I'm so thrilled to see my nephews, shop some Black Friday deals with the shopaholic ladies in my family, and grab a bite at my favorite restaurant back home! This look will definitely make it into my duffle for the trip!
I'm also super excited to share a discount code for 15% off Daniel Wellington watches with my code STYLELOG! The code is good through January 31st! I'm loving my watch and haven't taken it off since receiving it. They make perfect gifts and they offer free returns and gift wrapping! DW also has a special offer for the holidays where you can receive 10% off a cuff bracelet and watch set. This discount will work in addition to my code!
Halloween has past, and I know it's only November, but I can't help but get my mind stuck on Christmas time. It's no secret I put my tree up earlier every year. Don't freak out. It's not up just yet! I also am all wrapped up in creating holiday content! I get extra inspired by the holidays. Christmas is obviously my favorite, but I love Thanksgiving too. Getting the chance to get together with family, enjoy great food, and of course rock a cute, festive outfit always gives me a reason to smile. I am so looking forward to putting together fun holiday looks very soon to share on the blog! I've been finding so many good pieces like this velvet skirt. This one can go a long way! I'd love to see this styled so many ways: a cozy turtleneck, a shimmery bodysuit, a long sleeve knit! The possibilities are endless with a versatile piece like this!
This entire look is from
Molly Green in Atlanta. Links are to similar items from other retailers for you to conveniently shop online!
I'm always living for all things fall...this has been established. LOL. But, what I'm really living for is statement coats and cardis. Throwing a wild piece like this sweater over a dress or top can give you that extra edge to make you feel like you outfit is complete! Now, I've avoided tassel earrings for a while and contemplated saving these for another look, but then I thought "why not?". All the textures and colors happening here make me feel so "fashion week" and that's never a bad feeling!
This week it's finally cooling down in Georgia and I know I'm not the only one screaming "hallelujah!" Having had my fall wardrobe ready for its close up for quite sometime, it's so exciting to finally be able
to pull out some of my fav new pieces and share them with you. I've been working with Molly Green, a boutique with locations in Alabama, Tennessee, and Georgia, of course. All of this look is from Molly Green with the exception of these boots which I've linked the new and improved version of. I did my best to link dupes of each piece in this look. If you come across any better ones, DM me and I'll update the post!
Bodysuit / Shorts / Boots / Hat
For those not so chilly days in October, you've got to create the fall vibe somehow. In doing so, you also want to keep cool if you live somewhere like Atlanta where fall isn't a season but rather a day or two. LOL. This long sleeve bodysuit from my fav new boutique, Molly Green, has been a staple so far this fall. A piece like this is so easily transformed from casual to dressy, and the off the shoulder style is so trendy. Speaking of trendy, I've gotta praise these white boots for a minute. I'm in love with these as they contradict every fashion rule we were taught growing up. Anything that stands out like that is more than welcome in my closet!
If you haven't seen the white boot trend flooding your Instagram and Pinterest accounts then allow me to be the first to tell you, it's a thing! I honestly couldn't be happier about it. The "never wear white after Labor Day" rule is something I have never been able to tolerate. I'm pretty sure I've written about this for 3 years straight. There's a way to rock your white staples after Labor Day, and here's one way to do it. If it's shoes, boots (in my opinion) are the way to rock white in fall.
After almost splurging on a pair of white Freebird boots, I stumbled upon these at none other than TJ Maxx! Man, that place always comes in clutch for me and my bank account. Sort of. I mean, I spend an unhealthy amount of money on candles there, but I don't spend anywhere near the amount of money on shoes as I would shopping online (i.e. The Freebird boots). For this look I wanted to accessorize with the latest trends while keeping the top and bottom super casual and relaxed. I love these cabby hats. They are so fab with a sweater for fall and.... Oh wait. You said what? You think you can't pull it off? Ah, hush up! You sure can! Lastly, I'm loving this Tommy Sweatshirt. It's super cozy and if I'm not wearing it around the house I love the option of this outfit for dinner with friends!
That is all for this one! Thanks so much for reading, and hopefully I'll see you over on Instagram!
Transition weather can be hit and miss here in Atlanta. That's why I love pieces that I can wear and feel comfortable in when it's 60 degrees and when it's 80 degrees. Chambray is such a light and airy fabric so it's ideal for transitioning from summer to fall. With the addition of a flannel or leather jacket, this ensemble is ready to take you into October!
I'm never sure if it's going to stay, but I can assure you I won't be taking one second of this fall weather for granted here in Atlanta! I have a "uniform" for every season and my fall uniform is no doubt an oversized sweater, jeans, and boots! If you're the same then you'll want to check out The Mint Julep Boutique. Their new fall arrivals are top notch and you have the opportunity to get $10 off your first order by signing up for email notifications from Mint Julep!

Getting super girly on ya'll this week with a floral jumper dress I have fallen in LOVE with. Sorry, Jonathan. LOL. We see cute sun dresses and flowy floral minis every summer. I have been looking for a flirty little piece like this, but with a twist. I feel like I nailed it this time. Just like the linen overalls, I can pair this with a variety of tops and get way more wear out of it. Also, who struggles with heels? I mean 2005-20010 Victoria used to stomp up and down the hallways of the school in a pair of heels every. single. day. No wonder I hate them now. I love how trendy it is to rock sneaks with a dress these days. It is a dream come true that the only shoes I need to pack when traveling are Converse.
What is your favorite type of shoe? Let me know on Instagram and tell me you came from the blog!

In, my world, you can't beat a good pair of overalls. I live for anything effortless and versatile, and this linen number takes the cake. You better be prepared to hear me yap on about Urban Outfitters for the next few weeks because I've gone crazy over what they have in store right now.
Living in Georgia is a struggle in the summer so I look for pieces like this that aren't too constricting or that don't have too many parts. LOL. It is just too hot for all of that! Maybe not for some, but a pair of overalls/a jumpsuit is a staple in my closet. I has longevity and I can mix it up with the shoes and tops I pair with it to make it a "new" look every time.

Mermaid Hair Shine Spray
I'm always down for beachy waves! It's my go-to hair style and has been for over a year. I've always envied stars like Shay Mitchell for their perfect hair. I finally discovered the perfect product and method to styling my hair. I began leaving the ends of my hair straight while curling the upper half. I follow that by completely brushing it out and spraying in my Mermaid Shine Spray! After shaking out my hair there's not even a need to use any hair spray. The shine spray is a form a sea salt spray that gives my hair texture, which is perfect for leaving it down or styling it into a high pony. I love the volume this styling process gives, and it's so quick and simple. After getting several questions about my hair this summer I wanted to share my routine! I hope this helps you accomplish those trendy beach waves we all love!

Striped Cropped Sweater / Purple Mini Skirt / Sunnies
Urban Outfitters still hasn't let me down! If you didn't glance at this skirt and instantly think: "Zetus Lapetus, Margie" then idk you. At this current moment I have every Zenon: Girl of theTwenty-first Century movie on my DVR. You guys know I love a good throwback and live for pieces reminiscent of my childhood. So, you better believe I jumped when I saw this skirt. Now, if anyone has a cool event they want to invite me to so I can wear it, then holla! LOL.
Also, want to shout out DIFF Eyewear for these sweet Ruby shades! I love the gradient lenses, and every time I wear them I smile knowing that for every pair sold, DIFF donates a pair of glasses to someone in need. To get your own pair of Ruby's or any off fabulous style, use code: VICLINDSEY for 25% off!

I live for the classic "Jen Anniston - jeans and a white tee" look! So when I came across this cropped pullover I was SOLD. Something I love about this in particular is the fact that it is reminiscent of the 90s. Since I was a small child in the 90s and not quite a teen, I always admired the older girls and what they'd wear. Even though I wasn't old enough to rock some of the looks I loved, I I'm not complaining! I mean I modeled every outfit I wore from what I saw on Lizzie McGuire and MK & A movies. By the way isn't Hilary Duff just... Okay, I'll stop. Saving the Hilary rants for my Instagram Story. Since I own basically no oversized tee shirts (I'm funny) I had to have this bell-sleeve wonder! Ya'll know I love a big shirt, and this is my jam. Looking forward to transitioning this basic into fall! Lastly, why does Jennifer Aniston look so chic in a white T-shirt and blue jeans?

Did anyone else's mom get super extra when it came to back-to-school shopping? Well, mine did, and I wasn't ever mad at it. I remember this one plaid skirt from... you guessed it... Abercrombie. It was so unique and I knew someone at school would laugh at me for wearing it because it was pretty out of the norm for New Albany Middle School. We bought it anyway. I loved that stinkin' skirt! And, just like that I'm 24 and trying to dress like my middle school self. LOL. But, really, this jacket gives me such nostalgic vibes. I really love a piece of clothing that makes me 1. smile. 2. feel C-O-N-F-I-D-E-N-T (in my Fifth Harmony voice). I'm loving all of what Urban Outfitters is bringing right now. This time of year I love the back-to-school feel, but of course, without going to school. UO is bringing all of it, and I am living for it!
Head over to my Instagram and let me know what your favorite thing about back-to-school is/was?
